Chorus History

Pride of the Pacific Chorus has a wonderful history. Some of our performers are even beginning to make membership a family tradition, by recruiting their daughters and granddaughters! We've come a long way and our journey has many interesting highlights.

 

We started this chorus in May, 2007 and officially received our Charter from Sweet Adelines International on January 8, 2008.  We chartered with 39 members.  We began holding several Diva programs to see if we could find women interested in singing with us.  We had a lot of luck with the program and welcomed 16 new members.  We competed at the 2008 Pacifc Shores, Region 12, Regional Convention and Competition with 55 members.  We placed 1st in the Mid-Size Division and 2nd Place Overall..
